The Assessment Center, housed at and led by Pendleton Place, is a multi-agency evaluation center for families to identify root causes of neglect or abuse and establish recommendations for a plan to improve the well-being of children.
The Assessment Center is a collaborative effort between:
- Pendleton Place
- The Children’s Hospital of Greenville Health System
- Greenville Department of Social Services (DSS)
- The United Way of Greenville County
- and many more!
Pendleton Place coordinates the expertise and skills of all parties to conduct assessments for at-risk families who have experienced the removal of a child. This unique center provides comprehensive evaluations of the family, to include the child and parents. The results of these evaluations seek to develop a comprehensive plan for each child and adult that will put them on the best possible track for a bright future.
